Shipping policy

At Handmade Being, we aim to deliver your creative supplies with care, speed, and transparency. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how and where we ship your orders.
DELIVERY LOCATIONS:
I currently only deliver within the United Kingdom, including:
- England
- Scotland
- Wales
I do not deliver to:
- Northern Ireland
- British Forces Post Office (BFPO) addresses
(Due to shipping / delivery limitations and customs complexities, I am unable to deliver to these locations at this time.)
DELIVERY OPTIONS & CHARGES:
You can choose from the following shipping options at checkout:

Standard Delivery (2–4 business days)
Free for orders over £50
- Express Delivery (1–3 business days)
Shipping charges for your order are calculated and displayed at checkout.
ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH:
I process and dispatch orders Monday to Friday.
- Orders placed before 12:00 midday (UK time) are usually processed the same day and dispatched the next business day.
- Orders placed after 12:00 midday will be processed the following business day.
- Weekend orders are processed and dispatched the following Monday.
You will receive an email notification when your order has shipped, which includes a tracking number to check the status of your order.
HOW TO TRACK YOUR ORDER:
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details.
Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of your shipping confirmation, please contact me in writing by email at: enquiries@handmadebeing.co.uk
Include your name and order number, and I will do my best to help.
MULTIPLE ITEM ORDERS:
All physical items in stock will be shipped together, where possible, to minimise packaging and reduce delivery emissions.
ORDERS FOR WORKSHOP BOOKINGS:
Workshop bookings are not physical items and will not be shipped. You will receive an email confirmation after booking. Further details and information about the workshop will be sent before the workshop date so you can prepare, along with an e-ticket. If you would like to gift a place on a workshop please get in touch after you have booked and I can send you a workshop voucher to give to the recipient as part of the gift.
PERISHABLE & LIGHT-SENSITIVE ITEMS:
Cyanotype coated papers, fabrics, and kits containing light-sensitive coated papers and materials are perishable and are not eligible for return or refund.
Products and kits that include light-sensitive chemicals may only be returned if the original packaging seal remains unbroken. Once opened, these items cannot be resold and are non-returnable.
We take extra care to package them securely to maintain quality during delivery.

DELIVERY ACCURACY & RESPONSIBILITY:
Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly at checkout. If an order is returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address, you may be responsible for the re-delivery costs.
We reserve the right to choose the most appropriate delivery provider for your order, including Royal Mail, DPD, or Evri, depending on parcel size, weight, and destination.
